We are currently seeking an exceptional full-time Product Designer to join our Product Team, as we continue to expand our leading SaaS automation platform to plan, create and distribute marketing content across all media in the Marketing Technology (MarTech) space.
Our designers are expected to design not just an application but ecosystems of intelligent multi-surface applications, data services, APIs and cloud-enabled platforms. You will need to continuously reimagine the tools that our customers use for work.
Our teams are based in Odense, Copenhagen, Kyiv, London and California. We follow lean and agile methodologies in building our product and pay attention to user experience and delivering outcomes that our customers and the market will love. As an Encode Product Designer, you will work closely with designers, engineers, product managers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to create useful and engaging user experiences that generate business impact and delight our users.
Your impact and responsibilities
Your ultimate goal as a Product Designer is to design products with a clear value proposition. You will be responsible for the end to end experience delivering industry-leading product designs.
You will:
• Perform user research and discovery on complex problems; speak with customers, get to know the problem space through research and iteration
• Apply your skills throughout the design of the entire product life-cycle including research, sketches, wireframes, interaction models, flows, wireframes and visual design through prototyping and usability testing
• Understand and distill complex, broad concepts into beautiful and functional mockups and Figma prototypes to share and validate with the team and users
• Collaborate with product management, customer success and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions through the product development life-cycle
• Help to shape our design system and patterns to be used across the entire product ecosystem
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to executive level stakeholders
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure that the Encode design system and design language flows consistently across all platforms and customer experience touchpoints
• Influence and contribute to internal process and design culture.
Required skills and experience
• 3+ years Software Product Design or similar experience, shipping products to users (enterprise or large-scale consumer products preferred)
• Demonstrated talent and passion for designing end-to-end user experiences with a proven track record of designing responsive digital products and services across mobile, web, desktop and beyond
• Expertise in interaction design, with a strong sense of HCI and IA
• Experience in working in a high-growth Agile environment where decisions are driven by data and customer insights
• Strong storytelling skills and ability to create engagement across stakeholders
• Experience with inclusive and accessible design
• An understanding of front-end web development
• Motivated by curiosity and an interest to learn new skills, technologies and ways of doing business
• Exceptional team player with proven ability to lead through influence
• Ability to travel
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• English - fluent
